Christophe Mouton (EDF) gave a talk untitled "High performance scientific visualisation on the high bit rate CARRIOCAS network for the numerical simulation for the development of futur energies". The outline is the following:

After a synthetic introduction of CARRIOCAS project, EDF detailled the impacts of numerical simulations on its activities and the more specific issue of the collaborative remote visualisation. EDF described the CARRIOCAS project objective in this domain which should enable to bring an open solution to its internal and external computing ressource centers willing to offer to their users some high performance scientific visualisation ressources.

Other partners of the project  also gave presentations : Gaël Youinou (CGG, co-organisator of the seminar, "The petrol industry use case") and François Delfaud (Medit, "Modern distributed software architecture and new collaborative work means : Applications in Drug Design").
